Public consultation for the Cambridge Southeast Transport (CSET) scheme closed on 14 Dec 2020. Cambridge Connect supports a public transport route in the southeast via the former railway line to Haverhill, passing through the villages of Great Shelford and Stapleford.
A professional assessment of this route commissioned by the local Parishes in 2020 proved this route is feasible.
Cambridge Connect strongly opposes the route proposed by the Greater Cambridge Partnership, which cuts through precious landscape below the Gog Magog Hills, Wandlebury and Magog Down. We set out our full arguments for opposing the GCP route in our Submission to the public consultation.
