There is no doubt that a Cambridge Light Rail system would require significant investment. However, that investment would be repaid by substantial benefits across all sectors of the community. Cambridge Light Rail would be a game-changer, and make a real difference to people. Light Rail is fast, frequent, reliable and efficient: few of these words spring to mind when we consider other options. Light rail is also one of the most sustainable forms of transport, so is the sound choice environmentally, which is better for us and for our children’s future.
