Designed by Roger Sawhill, our logo is about better connections for Cambridge. Connections extend between key hubs, and outward from Cambridge, representing openness of Cambridge to the wider world. Light Rail lines and stops are referenced, as is the Green Belt surrounding the city. Green represents the importance of sustainability, the environment and quality of life. Plum represents Cambridge heritage, its history, and the vibrancy of its dynamic educational, social, cultural and economic context.
Roger Sawhill teaches Graphic Design in Atlanta, Georgia, and is Owner of the graphic design company UnParalleled.
